This young star is 17 years old. 17. She’s gotten a lot of hate. She’s 17! I know some real Billie Eilish fans out there, though. Her music kinda slaps. I think her idol was Bieber & she met him for the first time at Coachella this year.

Karen O & Danger Mouse deliver a captivating epic in the 9-song masterpiece. They took it back real smooth and spacey. It feels like Karen-O is fitting well in this Beach House-era generation. & I feel also like no one is more hardcore than Karen O!!!!

Soooooo, like, new Grimes alert!! Pretty Dark is a much softer return to the Grimes I first grew to love as opposed to the 2018 single, the heavy & fervent “We Appreciate Power.” Although its just a demo, this song is already a slapper & for some reason I deeply love the heartbeat that you’re able to hear. Thank you Grimezxzxzxvvvvv. I shouldn’t overthink this song because she’s just testing stuff out but let me fangirl if i wanna ok. I also dig that her mind is submerging itself in the current epoch of human-induced catastrophic ecological effects we-

 

It’s been 4 years since Tame Impala released its ever popular Currents & 2 years since its Currents B-Sides & Remixes – EP. “Patience” is Tame Impala’s latest single to drop & it sure is promising. I like to believe that Kevin Parker does not flop but we shall see how the rest of the album goes. Don’t sleep on Patience!!!

When I Get Home is Solange Knowles’s fourth album & she once again proves to the world that she can make wonderful & wickedly harmonious tunes. Solange def has an interesting way of composing her music & this time around she had help from several talented & prominent individuals including: Tyler the Creator, Dev Hynes (Yves Tumor), Panda Bear, Pharrell, Playboi Carti, Earl Sweatshirt & more. At times I reconsider my commitment to When I Get Home but I cannot deny the authenticity of Solange’s creativity & funk.

If you didn’t hear…

Just Like Heaven is officially sold out. Tickets sold out within minutes of being released. People were upset because there had been no mechanism to prevent bots from purchasing tickets. I still do not know of anyone who actually got tickets for $99. There were also people who complained about the tier system that was used. Well you can still enter for a chance to win tix here!

Edit: A second festival date was added & tix are low but it is not sold out!

Well folks, Homeshake just dropped their 4th single off of their upcoming album Helium. This band is really chill & there is little variance between albums. Helium is so far so good & I’m expecting it to finish off without any surprises. They are also v nice when performing live w a lil w**d.
